An unlikely weaving for our store with a unique story. It can be used as a wall hanging or rug in your home or sacred space.

Made by Teofilia, a Peruvian woman who grew up in the village of Chavin, which was the heart of one of the earliest societies in Peru. Teofilia made this weaving as a young woman from sheep she raised herself as a small girl. She sheared their wool, dyed it, spun the fiber and wove each weaving on a traditional loom. Each weaving that the family did not use or sell was stored away like savings for the future.

As Teofilia and her husband have aged and their health has deteriorated they have found themselves with more expenses then they can manage. And so, we are selling this weaving for them. Although the weaving is not from a shamanic tradition, it is, after all, infused with the energy of the place, its people and its history.  They deserve to belong to someone who will appreciate and honor their history and enjoy the connection across continents.
