Mapacho is one of the most important plants in the lives of all tribes of the northwest Amazon. It plays a part in curative rituals, in important tribal ceremonies. Mapacho is also used for entheogenic purposes by South American shamans. Our mapacho is traditional made and is dipped in cane alcohol by Shipibo in the Ucayali area of the Peruvian Amazon.
A complete bundle is approx. 16" long and 2-2.5" diameter and weighs 2 lbs. Sometimes it is wrapped in bamboo and sometimes in man made material to keep it protected. Must be over 21 years old to purchase.
