Sacred ceremonial rattles are skillfully handcrafted in the Peruvian Amazon from dried gourds with chonta wood handles. This rattle features on both sides a carved likeness of Otorongo, the beloved Sister / Mother Jaguar, and representative of the Winds of the West in some South American shamanism paths. Trimmed with colorful cotton thread windings both above and below the bowl and molted feathers from Amazon birds. Each rattle is a unique work of art and has its own sound. Rattle may vary slightly from photo shown. Choose from various sizes: Grapefruit, orange and lemon. Made in Peru.
